Wiggly Wigglers Rocks

I often refer to Wiggly Wigglers in my talks about social media successes. The company, positioned in a small town in England, has over 90,000 worldwide customers thanks in large part to their engaging blog, podcast and other social media efforts. I was talking to Heather at Wiggly via email a few weeks ago to get some updates on what they're up to ... moving to a new web management system and the like, expanding what they're doing and so on. Much to my surprise, I got a package in the mail today.

The goat wool socks are probably the coolest part, but the greeting cards and book are awesome additions to the House-O-Falls, I'm sure the wife will enjoy more than I. Wiggly has come a long way from selling seeds. They have a full color catalog with a bunch more stuff for us to order and a special holiday flyer for some special deals. (I'm debating not giving these to Nancy. We're not on a tight budget, but she'll love this stuff.)

Thanks Heather and Wiggly. You guys certainly rock.

And for disclosure's sake, I am in no way affiliated or associated with Wiggly Wigglers. Just talk about them as doing good social media stuff when I have the opportunity to talk case studies with folks. They sent the care package unsolicited. And I thank them, muchly.

I love what Heather and crew have done as well! I've used their story to kick off podcasting presentations I've given over the years. I love the community they've built with their listeners that way, but their whole approach to embracing their customers--and yeah, making money along the way--is obviously working!
